The one bad part about poker taking off is

Having to listen to all the bad beat stories. Every day I have to listen to a friend tell me how his aces got cracked or his set got beat by a flush blah blah blah.

Personally I want to have more bad beat stories than anyone. Shows I got my money in when I had the best of it. I just make a point not to talk about it. Makes me sick to see some guy bitching in a cardroom. People think because they have read a book and know "how they should" play poker they have the right to babble on and on about their bad luck. Nothing worse then watching the loose crazy player tighten up because Joe Blow has yelled at him for "playing that shit" till the river.

Not a direct stab at you PPP btw....a couple of your threads have talked about bad beats as of late. I will let those slide but learn to suck it up

i hear ya loud and clear just that lately its been like Matt, Thumper and Myself in here and noone else so i tend to let it fly a lil more....i even bumped up a cpl of oldies last night to knock a few of em down if you noticed.....

However i got the job writing for a sites poker blog daily and from here on out i'll have to stay strictly positive!!!!!

o 1 other thing..that forum at pokertracker has all the info you need, just got to do a lot of digging depending on what you want out of it...

personally i use it mostly at party and intertops cus it takes a lot of histories on somebody to really get decent stats on them....im using it as much to look at my own game as anything else

Pokertracker seems like an awesome tool. I got it primarily to analyze my play, although the "auto-rate" feature seems like an awesome tool, especially for cash games. Looking forward to figuring out all the bells and whistles.
